WHAT: Armed Forces Appreciation Day presented by the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center
WHEN: Saturday, August 28th, 2010 @ 10am – 10pm
WHERE: Northwest Florida “Bull Rigdon” Fairgrounds in Fort Walton Beach
WHO: There are multiple things happening at this event, here are a few of the features:
- TAYLOR HICKS concert – 8pm
- KIMBERLY LOCKE concert – 6pm
- 1964 The Tribute – 4pm
- Full Spectrum Jazz Ensemble – 2pm
- HALL OF HEROES – appearances by BAND OF BROTHERS (HBO series) soldiers for book and DVD signings (local military heroes present as well)
- Arts & Crafts, Info Booths, Free Children’s Activities, Cultural Entertainment, Food!
HOW MUCH: FREE admission to Active, Reserve, and Retired Military and Dependents (ID required) – $5 in advance $10 at door for public
