We are so proud of our team here at Revive Media Services. Diverse, experienced, passionate, talented and perfection-seeking … those are just a few words that come to mind when we think of the folks who work so hard to create your website, any video production you have or even advertisements! Okay, we are obviously biased, but we think you’ll agree as you learn more about the people behind our developments. Revive Media Services employees are pretty special.
Our workers hail from all over the Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Navarre and Niceville area. It’s important to all of us that every product we develop is made right to our clients satisfactory. We’ve been in business for more than 4 years and some of our employees have been with us right from the very start! We keep adding to the team with talented new hires as the business grows, but experienced or new, the one thing all Revive Media Services employees have in common is passion … passion for quality, for beautiful designs and for creating the very best products for your needs!
Now, in the spirit of getting to know the people of Revive Media Services, we’d like to introduce you to our newest team member here at Revive Media Services, Drake!
Where are you from originally?
“I grew up in Pinellas Park, Florida – 15 miles west of Tampa.”
How long have you been developing web designs?
“I’ve been developing web designs since I was about 8 years old.”
What’s your job title?
“Well some people call me ‘The Man’. But I am the new Design/Developer/Programer here at Revive.”
What does that mean, exactly?
“That means, when you have a custom website or image you would like designed; I am the nerdy guy people think about that is awesome on a computer. I design all my images from scratch and program everything you need until the client is happy.
I also spend a little amount of my time working with Kevin on making custom video products in the video production side of Revive.”
What is your favorite part of creating a new website?
“The initial design phase is the best, because I work to translate a vision of our clients into reality. It’s great to see the diversity in our clients minds basically come to life!”
Tell us some things interesting about yourself.
“I was sponsored for BMX Free-style riding when I was 16.”
“I have been playing on computers since I was about 6 years old, but designing since I was 8.”
What’s your favorite TV show?
What are your favorite movies?
“The Big Lebowski”
Our very own Web Designer Brandon Pence will be having his first solo exhibit this Friday, Oct. 29th at the Full Circle Gallery in Fort Walton Beach, FL. We are proud of his many accomplishments as an artist and excited to go see “…and all that could have been…” Below is the official press release:
Local artist, Brandon Pence, announces his solo art exhibit entitled, “…and all that could have been…”. The exhibit will be held at Full Circle Gallery in Fort Walton Beach, FL. from October 29th to November 21st, 2010. There will be an opening reception on October 29th from 6:00pm-9:00pm, with the artist talk at 7:30pm. He will discuss the developed graphic design skills and his experimenting with three-dimensional mediums. Pence hopes to create an experience to get people thinking and questioning.
“I’m very excited about this opportunity. I am pushing myself as an artist to create pieces outside of my comfort zone for this exhibit,” says Pence. “This is a collection of never before seen work made exclusively for this exhibit as well as a physical manifestation of my evolution as an artist.”
This is Pence’s first foray into sculpture and three-dimensional art as a whole. He will be constructing a life-size wooden cross and incorporating a female form comprised entirely of broken glass, crucified to it. Although this may be a sensitive subject to some people, the cross symbolizes a specific meaning to the artist as he hopes to open the minds of his viewers. Pence says, “I want people to think. This exhibit isn’t meant to offend; it’s meant to invoke thought.”
The 25 year old self-taught digital artist has attracted a niche following for his graphically enhanced photographic narratives. He captures portraits in a unique and intense way, posing his subjects against light and dark color contrasts. The eclectic, passionate tones of Pence? art clearly reflect his musical inspirations such as David Bowie, Johnny Rotten and Sascha Konietzko, as well as European artist Neil Duerden.
The Sandhandle Workshops is proud to announce our first Power of One workshop with author and educator Vicki Hinze, “Discovering Your Career Path – Drift vs Deliberate Choice.”
Based on Vicki’s 46-page Career Strategies Workbook, this 2-session journey of self-discovery focuses on the three dimensions–physical, emotional and spiritual–that must work in harmony to achieve your life goals. By asking the right questions, you’re encouraged to look past expected responses in examining your past, present and future.
You’ll receive guidance on how to use your personal copy of Vicki’s Career Stategy Workbook at the first session. Vicki will discuss the value and proper use of the Workbook, using examples from her own life and professional career. And, because we know quiet moments are few, time will be set aside for you to privately start the journey of self-exploration during the workshop using the initial Career Quiz and Self-Interview. Analyze where you’ve been, your influencers and influences, and the experiences and people who have changed your life.
Return the following week with your completed Workbook and questions. Discover how you can change the way you look at things as Vicki leads individual and group discussions. Develop an Action Plan. Take charge of your career!

The web development team here at Revive has launched the Web site of entertainment advertising agency Destin Hype. The client chose the cost and time effective alternative to a full-design and programming contract by purchasing a pre-made flash template through Template Tundra. As a result, the Revive programmers were able to launch the Destin Hype Web site within only a couple days.
The all-flash site showcases the cutting edge business, promoting its multi-faceted experience and influence in the entertainment market. The company is based in Destin, Florida but serves all of Okaloosa County as well as the greater Northwest Florida area.

Sharon Ramirez was the highest bidder, outbidding her competition and raising over $200 for OASIS!
The STYLE Benefit is an annual OASIS Banquet to Benefit OASIS. The event featured a silent auction, live music and even a fashion show and was a wonderful evening for a good cause.
